ABC's to Salvation Pray This Prayer Next Steps
A.
Admit you are a sinner.
"There is no one righteous, not even one ... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Ask God's forgiveness.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
B.
Believe in Jesus. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Become a child of God by receiving Christ.
"To all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
C.
Confess that Jesus is your Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Confirm your need for Christ to restore your relationship with God.
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me."
ARE YOU READY TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART?
If your answer is YES, then pray this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner.
I believe in my heart you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and that you were raised from the dead.
Thank you for paying the price for my sins.
Forgive me and make me a new person.
Cleanse me of my sins with your blood, wash me in the water of your Word, and come into my heart.
I commit my life to you today and I receive you as my Lord, as my Savior.
Amen."
